Dear members.  We have an exciting few weeks ahead of us.

On the Aug 20 meeting, we will hold  the evaluation contest.

And then, the following Sunday, Aug 23, we will have our first mentorship outing.  During that time we will hold table-topic practices--all in good fun.

This will prepare you for the Mandarin Table Topic contest/showcase on our Aug 27 meeting.  Anyone who can speak Mandarin should take this opportunity to participate.  It will be an exciting event.  Our club President, who speaks terrible Mandarin, has promised to enter this contest if there are more than 20 participants.  So, if you want to 'laugh with him' on stage, then sign up.

Then, on Saturday, Aug 29,  we will hold  the Humorous speech contest.  This also promises to be an exciting and rewarding event for all the participants.  Get ready to take a giant leap towards improving your public speaking skills.  Sign up.
