CCTMC's representation was outstanding for two seasons. First, CCTMC was the only club to have all its official club officers (plus the scheduler and librarian) attend the training. Second, numerous other CCTMC members were involved in the training, including five taking roles as trainers.

Caesar opened the training with his message of LOVE: L-Leading your team, O-Observe, V-Visualize your future, E-Encourage & Educate. Nathan Zhang and Hubert Lin, both former CCTMC presidents, gave valuable training to the whole group. Hubert spoke on “Attracting new members”, and Nathan gave a speech titled “Have fun being a club president.” Kathleen Gao, our former sergeant at arms, and former Vice President Public Relations Susie Liao offered their experience and insights to the new officers.

New CCTMC Vice President Membership Alex Jin said he gained a lot of ideas and inspiration from the senior club officers. “I got a much better understanding of the whole Toastmasters structure, from district level to division level then to area level; it was good to know how they operate," he said. “I got to see many different faces with the same passion to make themselves and everyone around them improve together. It was a great way to expand our network."
