CCTMC MEETING MINUTES – NOVEMBER 24, 2011 |
Dear Fellow Toastmasters,
Thanks to Cathy Li and her team, we had a really smooth and eventful meeting on Thanksgiving Day. We were awarded “distinguished club” for the achievement during the last 6 months. Congratulations, fellow members, it is our honor and we shall be proud.
Listen, Alicia is singing beautifully – she has grown up with music and she sings various opera forms, like Jing Opera and Hui Opera! Impressive.
Remember the time when we had so much fun without any fancy toys or computer games? Remember, “Ba Gen”, and we made the “gen”s stronger by sticking them inside our shoes or soak them in water; Let’s do it, Sue says, they are gifts from nature and you can play them in the nature. About human nature, Chris has something to say as well: let’s see if our lifestyle is truly healthy for our body by comparing our life to that of a caveman 30,000 year ago; Yes, healthy life is important, Jeri says, but “Don’t let your money sleep under your bed” – invest them and get compound interest. It will make a lot of difference for your finance!
Everyone has enjoyed the meeting, especially for our beloved Prof. Hale. Happy birthday, Prof. Hale, and congratulations on getting the best evaluator award! :) |
