When you first joined Toastmasters, what did you want to get out of it?   Has the club met your expectations?  

In my experience Toastmaster, especially CCTM, has the tools for us to become better speakers and leaders.  It has not failed me.  And as the president of the club, I will not fail you, and we will not fail each other.

For this is what I believe: that each of us should have the commitment to build up our club and fellow members.  And to that end, we should all share the responsibilities of the offices chosen today.   We should all proactively offer encouragement to one another. And we must all reach out to others if we want to succeed as individuals.

And so I want to lay out these challenges for everyone.  Will you step forward and join a committee:  Committee of Education, Committee of Membership, or of PR.   Will you put in the time and effort, to become an outstanding evaluator and give valuable feedback?   Will you renew your dedication to the mentorship program, striving to learn from others and striving even harder to give back?

Because when we work together with this principle, we will excel as a team.  When we learn through this principle, we will thrive as leaders and speakers.  When we live by this principle, we will bond as brothers and sisters.
