| A Brilliant Ending - A Brilliant Beginning by Frieda |
|
Dear Fellow TMers, We concluded our contest last night, and i say, Were we brilliant, or brilliant, or what? Here are some laughing points that I will remember forever: Waves used his greeting+evaluation technique after a fight with his girl friend: “Honey, thank you for your talk just now - You used body language and vocal variety extremely well; and if I were to give you some suggestions, I’d say that we are together because we want to live happily together, not to win a fight.” When it comes to dating, men are good actors. Yann, who stuck his body in between the hood and the engine, in front of his dream girl; Nathan, who faked his patience shopping with a girl for 3 hours to win her heart. But, hey, we see through you right away – you are liars, smart or not, Julie says; Charly nods his head, “have you ever been cheated? And, have you cheated anyone?”- questions shook us to the bones. What is it with this French guy? His body turned into a magic wand –Arnaud: “Lin has this golden blonde hair, when he runs, his hair runs with him”, and “I transformed from a man to an ape in 5 minutes”, “when Lin finishes running, his hair goes back to his original style!”. Was it me, or everyone? I felt like I had been running along with Arnaud and Lin for 5 minutes! For a Brilliant ending, we have 3 winners of the contest: Yann, Arnaud and Nathan, although I think every participant is a winner in his own terms. Thank you all: Alicia, Arnaud, Cathy Chen, Charly, Julie, Nathan, Waves and Yann, who entertained us last night - you put a brilliant ending to our "autumn" contests. I hope you had a good night sleep like me, I am already looking forward to our next contest. Next time, I will be a contestant. Thank you for your compliments – I had been this “very shy and serious” girl/women for years on stage, I thought I was helpless for the rest of my life. YOU have changed me with your kind encouragement; and with a lot of struggle, with so many times that I felt so hopeless, I kept standing on the stage time and time again. Now, I have the confidence to say “being able to entertain people on the stage is one of the best things I have ever done.” Now a new journey starts here. |
