Dear members and guests, please note that our traditional meeting venue in Zhaolong Hotel will NOT be available during the whole month of August due to Olympic security restrictions. Our meetings will be in the new temporary venue located on the 8th floor of Comfort Inn Hotel (凯富酒店), which is about 200 meters west of Zhaolong hotel. The address of the hotel is: No 6 Gongti Beilu (工体北路6号).
You should go through the hotel lobby, take the elevator to the 8th floor. The new meeting room is inside BMEI Co., Ltd. After you enter into the company, make a right turn and you will find the room on your right side. If you have difficulties to find, please call Yann (13901191871).

Welcome to Beijing China Capital Toastmasters Club! Toastmasters is a non-profit organization with over 11,000 clubs around the world that trains the leaders of today and tomorrow.
Our club is composed of people from all walks of life: CEOs, senior managers, students, employees, retirees, NGO volunteers; and we have a very good mix of foreigners and Chinese people. Whatever our background, we all share the same ideals: we strive to improve our soft skills of public speaking and leadership. Some of us want to improve our public speaking skills for getting a promotion, while some of us want to use our speaking skills in our non-profit organization to make the world a better place. Whatever your reason for joining Toastmasters, you'll find in our club: - A strong learning environment based on high quality evaluations, trainings and pro-active mentorship - Fun through a relaxed atmosphere (but serious about learning), friendly members and natural humor - A personal touch to every member to create a "family feeling" and make new friends - A high level of creativity

Please note: Our Toastmasters club is NOT an English corner, you must have a sufficient level of English to join our club. We welcome students, but you must be over 18 to meet Toastmasters International requirements to be a member.
